jailbreak iPhone itouch iPod

Download any firmware upto 3.1.2 (subject to change) from iTunes then run this program called BLACKRA1N (windows), BLACKRA1N (apple).
Put it on desktop and double click... Kick back and let it do all the work for you:)

Let me, a pro, tell you what's up.
And give you a jump on what you have and what you can do.

The first thing you notice is that you have some new icons.
Press the one that says CYDIA and let's begin.

I recommend that you install the hacker, or developer install. But if you are a begginer you should press the first option. You can always change this later so don't worry...

After your install the iPhone will reboot. When it does go back to Cydia and there will be new installs. Install these and your device will reboot again.

This time when you return you will be ready to start. You will have tabs at the bottom that are pretty self explanatory but if they are not I will explain.

1 Packages: are downloaded by you
2 Search: to search through packages
3 Sources: Add here for more (Google Cydia Sources)

The other tabs are basic so play around with them AND do not be afraid to try new programs out...

Whenever I jailbreak I always install a certain group of programs. You may find that you want something else but that is the joy of this... It's customizable...

What I start off with is source: http://cydia.hackulo.us (you must type this into sources (tab))

This gets the famed Installous program which has the iTunes apps already cracked for you.

Well, have fun and do not be afraid to do research before you brick your ipod... (j.k.)
But if you do you can always reinstall and start over.

Most of these 3rd party developers are not doing it for the money... They do it for you!
